I’m posting this on my tumblr to share this video to everyone who can see it.

This is a Stop Motion I made for my Time Based Media class. It was a slight rushed job and it is imperfect at the moment, taken approximately six hours (because the people who were part of this all had classes to go to), but I hope that someday I would be able to remake this properly.

I made this during a time when I was really down and overwhelmed by art classes and nothing I did ever seem to satisfy me. I was always left feeling like I wasn’t good enough because I couldn’t produce anything worth like many of my peers could.

The storyboard was made on a whim, but it made me realize later on that maybe my stuff aren’t really “crap”, because in a sense we are creating “life” out of our art.

I hope that this video would inspire people somehow or another. Thank you for taking the time to watching it.

(Thanks to my friends who helped out in making this video. It wouldn’t have been possible without you guys there!)

That was amazing Karen!

Ah, thank you so much! I’m really happy that you liked it. :,) I had to take 720 pictures in total to make this…I wish I could have more time to fix some of the jumpy parts. ;^;
